Pie Ranch and the Amah Mutsun Land Trust: Volunteer to remove invasive species from Cascade Creek, April 8, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm

“Volunteers are needed to help to remove invasive plants in a critical section of the creek. We especially need help removing eucalyptus sprouts from around the creek. We will also be propagating native willow species along the creek to restore the native ecosystem. Lunch will be served to volunteers between sessions. Spend time outdoors, meet new people, learn about invasive plants and creek habitat, and help restore the ancestral land of the Quiroste Tribe (represented by the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band and Land Trust). 12pm – 1pm Lunch provided.” RSVP HERE

Coastal Watershed Council: River Health Day, April 8, 10 AM – Noon

“Join us for our River Health Day of planting and maintaining native seedlings along the banks of the San Lorenzo River to increase biodiversity and revitalize the river ecosystem. We will meet on the east riverbank between the Soquel Ave and Laurel Street bridges.
