We worked hard to convince the Newsom administration to take action over the past three plus years. From collecting over 60,000 petition signatures in support, activating dozens of the top marine scientists, recreational businesses and local community groups, to organizing educational events, film screenings and tabling events -- all our efforts paid off with this win.
