River Studio at the Tannery is excited to host our 3rd annual community based exhibit honoring the beloved San Lorenzo River. If you drink water (70% of the city’s drinking water comes from this River), if you’ve spent some time caring for her, if you like to hear the sunrise chatter of tiny and big birds in the willows, then, this exhibit will speak to you. For many artists, especially young artists, this is their first exhibit. For others, their artwork has a familiar grace you might recognize. The images reflect the long and winding currants from the Castle Rock heights, flowing through rich forests, past the everchanging landscape of Santa Cruz to the curves of the Big Dipper into the waves of Monterey Bay.
